With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Loi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Quinito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Abel Loi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipolletti's Lisandro Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Iaki struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. The Santi.River players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
