The tension between the Visca Lepra and the Simbolar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Simbolar booed when Visca Lepra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Baudelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Visca Lepra's Jeremias Silban got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Garoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Silvano Garoa made a precise shot to the right of Fermin Ellande. Visca Lepra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Abel Delfino acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Delmiro Cordero. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Delfino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jeremias Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Joachim in the 97th minute of play. The Simbolar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Simbolar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
