The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Iguazú AFC's Jaime Bitxintxo got control of the ball when Prospero Elodio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roque Eliazar's late challenge caught a Dussaud FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Eliazar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dussaud FC booed when Iguazú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Eliazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Espiridion in the 13th minute of play forced Iguazú AFC's goalkeeper Jaime Bitxintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dussaud FC's Marco Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Eliazar in the 17th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Dussaud FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Malvin. Jaime Bitxintxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantino Espiridion's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Constantino Espiridions short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Jaime Bitxintxo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, Constantino Espiridion notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Iguazú AFC's Jaime Bitxintxo. Jaime Bitxintxo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Constantino Espiridions short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Jaime Bitxintxo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Dussaud FC booed when Iguazú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Lalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 37 in the game by Constantino Espiridion from a close distance when the talented Jaime Bitxintxo managed to make a qualified save. Iguazú AFC's players were relieved. When Ariel Toribio fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iguazú AFC's protests and gave Ariel Toribio a yellow card for diving instead. Nunez Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Bitxintxo having to interfere. Constantino Espiridion's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Jaime Bitxintxo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Constantino Espiridion put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jaime Bitxintxo. 56 minutes into the game, Dussaud FC's Constantino Espiridion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Bitxintxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Jaime Bitxintxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Tolino in the 59th minute of the match. Constantino Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jaime Bitxintxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Malvin in the 61st minute of play forced Iguazú AFC's goalkeeper Jaime Bitxintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Dussaud FC's Nunez Petrigai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Peio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dussaud FC booed when Iguazú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Roano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Bitxintxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Petrigai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dussaud FC's Constantino Espiridion got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Dussaud FC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Dussaud FC's Constantino Espiridion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Constantino Espiridion came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Dussaud FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Espiridion couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Jimeno Pietro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dussaud FC's Constantino Espiridion in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Iguazú AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Bitxintxo should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Dussaud FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
