In the 13th match minute, Wankers AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Bastia to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Villaverde having to interfere. Emiliano Obano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claud Caniggia's late challenge caught a Gato Encerrado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claud Caniggia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wankers AC's Claud Caniggia got a free kick in the 18th minute. Claud Caniggia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Primitivo Abadia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Villaverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Obano in the 24th minute of the match. Fernando Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Obano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 29th minute of the match Claud Caniggia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Claud Caniggia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 30th match minute, Wankers AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claud Caniggia to maneuver through the defense. If Marcelo Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emiliano Obano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Villaverde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Teodosio Bastia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wankers AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gato Encerrado the free kick. Teodosio Bastia hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nereo Duardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Lizar kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Emiliano Obano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gato Encerrado's Emiliano Obano got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Wankers AC's zone, Emiliano Obano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Villaverde came out of the goal and Emiliano Obano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Villaverde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Lizar went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Emiliano Obano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Bonifaco hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Emiliano Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Villaverde having to interfere. Primitivo Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Vitin in the 76th minute of play. Emiliano Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. The supporters of Gato Encerrado booed when Wankers AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Duardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marcelo Lizar came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Gato Encerrado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Lizar couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the game, Gato Encerrado's Emiliano Obano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Villaverde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gato Encerrado's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
