Spectators: 7102 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eloy Arotza got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Gato Encerrado defense, Jimeno Pietro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Abadia. The Gato Encerrado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Abadia should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Emiliano Obano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gato Encerrado's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Obano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Bitxintxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Iguazú AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Inocente came free, but Jaime Bitxintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Iguazú AFC's Santos Cheche got a free kick in the 12th minute. Mario Bonifaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Lizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Emiliano Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Bitxintxo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Emiliano Obano sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Marco Curcio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eloy Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Iguazú AFC's Marco Curcio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Primitivo Abadia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Emiliano Obano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jaime Bitxintxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Bitxintxo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Lizar in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Bitxintxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Marcelo Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Obano to make the kick off. Marco Curcio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Primitivo Abadia made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixto Gonsalvo during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gato Encerrado booed when Iguazú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Gonsalvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gato Encerrado's Fernando Inocente got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Curcio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Abadia having to interfere. Primitivo Abadia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eloy Arotza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 86 minute of play. 1-3 became the score in the 91st minute when Emiliano Obano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of Iguazú AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gato Encerrado side.
