After having played for 9 minutes, Claud Caniggia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wankers AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claud Caniggia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amancio Iago hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Ambrosio Mergildo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Wankers AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Mergildo couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Amancio Iago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nereo Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alfredo Remir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Claud Caniggia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claud Caniggia to strike the kick off in the second half. Wankers AC played a much better game than Club 57 and deserved their victory. The Club 57 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
