Wankers AC's Hugo Villaverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Jeraldo in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Wankers AC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Kismi came free, but Hugo Villaverde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Didi F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Kismi to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claud Caniggia to make the kick off. Wankers AC's Hugo Villaverde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Wankers AC from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Isidoro Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Didi F.C's zone, Claud Caniggia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Socorro came out of the goal and Claud Caniggia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Villaverde having to interfere. Claud Caniggia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Laureano Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Paulo Walme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes in the game, Lucio Jeraldo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some careless play in the Wankers AC defense, Lucio Jeraldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Villaverde. The Wankers AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Villaverde should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Didi F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
