Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Manuel Oro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Iguazú AFC's Santos Cheche shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aldo Salomone but with some difficulty. After 10 minutes of play, Los Naufragos's Virgilio Chaime made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Bitxintxo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaime Bitxintxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Baleren in the 13th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Los Naufragos's corner Albino Tadzio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jaime Bitxintxo quite easily take care of the ball. The Los Naufragos fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Los Naufragos's Gaudencio Baleren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Iguazú AFC booed when Los Naufragos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Orlanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Marco Curcio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los Naufragos's Aldo Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Arotza in the 32nd minute of play. Jaime Bitxintxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Baleren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Iguazú AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Oro came free, but Jaime Bitxintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Gaudencio Baleren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Bitxintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Salomone was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Jimeno Pietro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jimeno Pietro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Aldo Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Arotza in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloy Arotza made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Eloy Arotza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iguazú AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Santos Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Gaudencio Baleren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Jaime Bitxintxo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
