After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Erasmo Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.A.M's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Hitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Guilabertus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the game, Saverio Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Boca Junior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.A.M the free kick. In the 15th minute, Saverio Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico Boca Junior's Leopoldo Guilabertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Lluis in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Moises Luzaide notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of S.A.M's Generoso Efraim. Generoso Efraim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leopoldo Guilabertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Hitz in the 26th minute of play. Lino Pacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Generoso Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Luzaide did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Generoso Efraim 34 minutes into the match. If Albino Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Moises Luzaide cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Generoso Efraim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Moises Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Luzaide in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Efraim saved S.A.M from getting behind. Adrian Evarado made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jeremias Paulin immediately put the ball in play. Saverio Vidal struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Generoso Efraim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Boca Junior. Club Atletico Boca Junior's Moises Luzaide got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Luzaide in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Efraim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Generoso Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Luzaide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albino Caetano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Efraim having to make a save. In the 72ndth minute of the game Moises Luzaide who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.A.M's Generoso Efraim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Albino Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Boca Junior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Caetano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Moises Luzaide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Efraim was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When Albino Caetano came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Club Atletico Boca Junior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Caetano couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Moises Luzaide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Efraim. S.A.M's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Luzaide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The Club Atletico Boca Junior fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Club Atletico Boca Junior's Albino Caetano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Generoso Efraim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Luzaide in the 90th minute of play.
