Edgardo Enol hit a great ball. Celestino Lohitzun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Arnas in the 23rd minute of the match. Celestino Lohitzun came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Quilmes FC's Cipriano Arnas. But to his dismay, Cipriano Arnas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Higinio Lain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Prudencio Rioja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Nicanor Mendiko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilmes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Mendiko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Lohitzun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Choiqué's goalkeeper Celestino Lohitzun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Celestino Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Arnas in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Evaristo Corderall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Choiqué's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilmes FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Choiqué's Evaristo Corderall got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Nicanor Mendiko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Lohitzun. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prudencio Rioja showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Celestino Lohitzun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quilmes FC had won after a very even match.
