Club Atletico Boca Junior's Saverio Vidal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Amado Gonchan, made in the 36th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Baldomiro Goyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Albino Caetano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Vistruario was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Albino Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Vincent took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erubiel Vistruario. Fantasmas del Caribe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The supporters of Club Atletico Boca Junior booed when Fantasmas del Caribe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Goyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Boca Junior's Denis Tadzio got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dionisio Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Leopoldo Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fantasmas del Caribe's Erubiel Vistruario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Caetano in the 62nd minute of play. With his leg Erubiel Vistruario managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Club Atletico Boca Junior's Moises Luzaide fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Saverio Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Moises Luzaide made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Fantasmas del Caribe's Erubiel Vistruario tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramiro Nalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Gitano in the 84th minute of play forced Club Atletico Boca Junior's goalkeeper Leopoldo Guilabertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Guilabertus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Laurin in the 86th minute of the match.
