Segundo Gitano took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Efraim. Generoso Efraim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7thth minute of the game Cristo Columbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.A.M's Generoso Efraim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremias Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Erasmo Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Vistruario having to interfere. When Cristo Columbo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Fantasmas del Caribe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Columbo couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute of the match Bartolo Ubendu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erubiel Vistruario skillfully saved the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Cristo Columbo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of S.A.M's Generoso Efraim. Generoso Efraim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruperto Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Vistruario having to interfere. In the 31st minute Ruperto Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.A.M's Generoso Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Laurin in the 32nd minute of play. Erasmo Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Vistruario having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in S.A.M's zone, Ramiro Nalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Efraim came out of the goal and Ramiro Nalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristo Columbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Generoso Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Efraim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Laurin in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Columbo to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Lluis during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fantasmas del Caribe booed when S.A.M was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Lluis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristo Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cristo Columbo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Efraim was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Ruperto Amor made a precise shot to the right of Erubiel Vistruario. Fantasmas del Caribe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo James during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes S.A.M got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo James. 66 minutes into the game, Cristo Columbo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Generoso Efraim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruperto Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Vistruario having to interfere. Ruperto Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cosme Gurutz charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Gurutz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to S.A.M getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Cosme Gurutz hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Cristo Columbo sped through S.A.M's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Generoso Efraim. In the 85th minute Ruperto Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Dionisio Laurin notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of S.A.M's Generoso Efraim. Generoso Efraim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonzalo Goiz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The S.A.M fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fantasmas del Caribe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
