After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Cipriano Arnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilmes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Arnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Toro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narciso Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Arnas in the 38th minute of play. If Nicanor Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cipriano Arnas made a kick off. The Samfénix FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Samfénix FC's Placido Maties looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 57 minutes into the match, Quilmes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Isusko came free, but Prudencio Rioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Isusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Rioja having to interfere. Prudencio Rioja made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Placido Maties sent off a good shot on target. If Nicanor Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Toro having to interfere. Chants of Samfénix FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Quilmes FC had held the ball for most of the match.
