An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Cristo Columbo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 12 minutes into the match, Damaso Garaile had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Vistruario. Fantasmas del Caribe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Garaile was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fantasmas del Caribe's Cristo Columbo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Fantasmas del Caribe booed when Sabremos Cumplir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Bembe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Orlando Henry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Sabremos Cumplir's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Columbo came free, but Lázaro Serafo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sabremos Cumplir's Orlando Henry got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Dionisio Laurin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Lázaro Serafo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Dionisio Laurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Laurin might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Serafo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionisio Laurin ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristo Columbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lázaro Serafo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lázaro Serafo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Fantasmas del Caribe's Dionisio Laurin. But to his dismay, Dionisio Laurin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 56th minute, Jairo Faron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Cidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sabremos Cumplir's Lázaro Serafo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Nalo in the 59th minute of play. Cristo Columbo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Lázaro Serafo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fantasmas del Caribe. Cristo Columbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lázaro Serafo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Columbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Henry's late challenge caught a Fantasmas del Caribe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Henry helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sabremos Cumplir getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Orlando Henry hit a great ball. Lázaro Serafo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Columbo's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Cristo Columbo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lázaro Serafo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fantasmas del Caribe. In the 97thth minute of the game Enrique Nisio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fantasmas del Caribe's Erubiel Vistruario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Fantasmas del Caribe were the better team. Fantasmas del Caribe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
