Leandro Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Micael in the 26th minute of play. Angelo Micael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saturnino Justin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Hibai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Deportivo San Juan defense, Fabricio Horado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucio Ulizes. The Deportivo San Juan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucio Ulizes should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Fabricio Horado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lechuza's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Horado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Ulizes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Lechuza's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Justin came free, but Leandro Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 56th minute, Saturnino Justin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 58 minutes into the match, Angelo Micael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leandro Hibai. Lechuza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Micael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Polo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucio Ulizes saved Deportivo San Juan from getting behind. In the 64th minute Victorio Herena collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Angelo Micael's late challenge caught a Lechuza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Micael helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Deportivo San Juan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Micael to maneuver through the defense. If Saturnino Justin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Micael who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Leandro Hibai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Lechuza's Anselmo Chano got a free kick in the 79th minute. Leandro Hibai was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Saturnino Justin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saturnino Justin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lechuza's goalkeeper Leandro Hibai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leandro Hibai made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Angelo Micael sent off a good shot on target. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
