After 21 played minutes Guascan got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Dolcet. Raul Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Hibai having to interfere. Adolfo Polo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Ermano having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Bernabe Hondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guascan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Hondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guascan's Bernabe Hondo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Guascan's Bernabe Hondo in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lechuza's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lechuza eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
