Spectators: 6400 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo San Juan's Saturnino Justin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Maestros got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Semeno. Edgardo Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Justin in the 7th minute of play. Maestros's Edgardo Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Micael in the 8th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Deportivo San Juan's Angelo Micael made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgardo Gaur was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Saturnino Evis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maestros's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Evis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Ulizes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Deportivo San Juan getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Romeo Lazcano hit a great ball. Edgardo Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Justin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Maestros's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Lazcano came free, but Edgardo Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Saturnino Justin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo San Juan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 27th match minute, Maestros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Cresenciano to maneuver through the defense. With 30 minutes on the clock, Ovidio Semeno commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maestros fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Maestros's Edgardo Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Justin in the 34th minute of play. Arturo Marz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodosio Chago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Justin in the 52nd minute of play forced Maestros's goalkeeper Edgardo Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Gaur came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo San Juan's Silvano Azibar. But to his dismay, Silvano Azibar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Maestros's Edgardo Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Azibar in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Maestros's Roman Padro got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ignacio Raymundo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucio Ulizes. Lucio Ulizes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After a rather tough play, Deportivo San Juan's Romeo Lazcano got a free kick in the 66th minute. Edgardo Gaur was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Saturnino Justin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saturnino Justin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Edgardo Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Justin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Maestros's Edgardo Gaur got control of the ball when Angelo Micael tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Gaur came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo San Juan's Angelo Micael. But to his dismay, Angelo Micael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 95th minute Romeo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Gaur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Deportivo San Juan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo San Juan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
