The Spegazzini F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Mouricio should have stopped the shot. After 10 minutes of play, El Hombre Tinta's Niceto Pinto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Mouricio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Basilio Mouricio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Sanchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Sanchez struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Basilio Mouricio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Hombre Tinta. Nestor Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fausto Honesto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edelmiro Sanchez came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the El Hombre Tinta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Sanchez couldn't finish the play. In the 26thth minute of the game Carlos Pelayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spegazzini F.C's Basilio Mouricio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfonso Bartolome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Honesto having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Gogo Frisco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Hombre Tinta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spegazzini F.C the free kick. In the 34th match minute, El Hombre Tinta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Frisco to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Edelmiro Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Hombre Tinta's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Sanchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Mouricio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basilio Mouricio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Pelayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Basilio Mouricio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Sanchez's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Carlos Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Mouricio having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edelmiro Sanchez to strike the kick off in the second half. If Nestor Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Mouricio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Primitivo Valente. Edelmiro Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Edelmiro Sanchez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Carlos Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Hombre Tinta's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Pelayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Mouricio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basilio Mouricio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Sanchez in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Alfonso Bartolome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spegazzini F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Bartolome was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute Joaquin Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Honesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Mouricio having to interfere. Carlos Pelayo in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Basilio Mouricio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edelmiro Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Mouricio having to interfere. If Edelmiro Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over El Hombre Tinta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Spegazzini F.C throughout the match.
