Tiburcio Aresti came out of the goal and Humberto Feo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigoberto Dei in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiburcio Aresti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Lico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Eulalio Lluques made a huge save. In the 9th minute Godfredo Sidoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Lluques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Bertol kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Benito Lico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pechines's supporters rose to their feet, but Benito Lico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eulalio Lluques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Godfredo Sidoro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eulalio Lluques. The goal made the score 1-1. Tiburcio Aresti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Feo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Feo in the 49th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
