The supporters of Flat Earth FC booed when Spegazzini F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Oskitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Cuarto in the 8th minute of play forced Spegazzini F.C's goalkeeper Basilio Mouricio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Carmelo Cuarto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flat Earth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Cuarto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Favila struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Serafino Osmundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spegazzini F.C. Flat Earth FC's Serafino Osmundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Flat Earth FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Spegazzini F.C getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alfonso Bartolome hit a great ball. In the 30th match minute, Flat Earth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Rufio to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Maule lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Flat Earth FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Efrain Viviano shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a rather tough play, Flat Earth FC's Bonifacio Rufio got a free kick in the 38th minute. Serafino Osmundo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Alfonso Bartolome sent off a good shot on target. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flat Earth FC! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Rosario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Flat Earth FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Maldonado. Alfonso Bartolome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alfonso Bartolome came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Spegazzini F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Bartolome couldn't finish the play. If Dante Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Spegazzini F.C getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Joaquin Ieltxu hit a great ball. When Nestor Favila came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Spegazzini F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Favila couldn't finish the play. If Alfonso Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Favila in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafino Osmundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
