Felicidad FC's Nicanor Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Bermudez in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match Jonas Acuña shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Sotil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Eriberto Cresenciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Bermudez in the 15th minute of play forced Felicidad FC's goalkeeper Nicanor Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eriberto Cresenciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Porron y Novia Nueva's Victorio Ferrando got a free kick in the 29th minute. Victorio Weterio's late challenge caught a Porron y Novia Nueva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Weterio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Felicidad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Weterio to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Bermudez in the 31st minute of play. Eriberto Cresenciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Matxin having to make a save. When Nereo Bermudez came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Porron y Novia Nueva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Bermudez couldn't finish the play. Javier Heli kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Eriberto Cresenciano made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Porron y Novia Nueva booed when Felicidad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicanor Sotil was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jonas Acuña. With an all-out effort, Porron y Novia Nueva's Nicanor Sotil threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nereo Bermudez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Javier Heli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Matxin having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Gavino Mosen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Felicidad FC and the Porron y Novia Nueva players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Porron y Novia Nueva booed when Felicidad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Mosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Matxin having to interfere. When Victorio Ferrando fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porron y Novia Nueva's protests and gave Victorio Ferrando a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Porron y Novia Nueva's Nereo Bermudez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicanor Sotil. That made the score 0-1 after 96 minutes of play.
