Colon SF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 minutes, Ambrosio Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colon SF and the Malligasta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ambrosio Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Zacarias Presebal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alba Idiaquez skillfully saved the ball. Osvaldo Ruy came out of the goal and Ambrosio Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Ruy having to interfere. If Christian Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Colon SF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
