Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Ernesto Sidro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jesus Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Sidro in the 6th minute of the match. Igor Montel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Saverio Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Nereo Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, White Lion FC's goalkeeper Saverio Cefero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Montel. The supporters of Porron y Novia Nueva booed when White Lion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nereo Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Cefero having to interfere. Saverio Cefero made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Igor Montel sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Porron y Novia Nueva's Nereo Bermudez got a free kick in the 24th minute. Saverio Cefero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Porron y Novia Nueva's Jesus Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Aresti in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Gregorio Lucian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Porron y Novia Nueva got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Johans. Venancio Aresti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Venancio Aresti in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jesus Matxin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 55 played minutes Porron y Novia Nueva got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Lucian. Ernesto Sidro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jesus Matxin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Silvio Goiz. In the 67th minute Nereo Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, White Lion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Ruisko to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Aresti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jesus Matxin made a huge save. Igor Montel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Cefero having to interfere. Saverio Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Igor Montel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Sidro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Matxin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Venancio Aresti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Enrique Txatxu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Porron y Novia Nueva's Jesus Matxin didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Porron y Novia Nueva's Gregorio Lucian got a free kick in the 95th minute. After having played for 99 minutes, Pablo Ruisko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White Lion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Ruisko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
