Ruperto Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Cresenciano in the 11th minute of the match. Jaime Machado was a little too slow when Francisco Ibon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Francisco Ibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Benjamin Lizar had to leave the field with a concussion. After 18 minutes, Maximo Claus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balboa FC and the Zazo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Balboa FC's Maximo Claus got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jaime Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonatan Palban went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jonatan Palban struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jaime Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zazo. After a defensive mix-up in Balboa FC's zone, Jonatan Palban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Machado came out of the goal and Jonatan Palban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Balboa FC's Herminio Loco got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes, Severo Gartzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zazo and the Balboa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Zazo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Gartzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Jonatan Palban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Balboa FC's zone, Severo Gartzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Machado came out of the goal and Severo Gartzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonatan Palbans short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Jaime Machado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Balboa FC booed when Zazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 45th minute of the match Maximo Claus completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Maximo Claus a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 46 played minutes Balboa FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Claus. 48 minutes into the game, Jonatan Palban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jaime Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Adrian Cresenciano made the kick off in the second half. Jaime Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Palban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Cresenciano struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ruperto Maties didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balboa FC. When Jonatan Palban came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Zazo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Palban couldn't finish the play. Jonatan Palban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jaime Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Severo Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jonatan Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zazo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Palban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 minutes, Herminio Loco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balboa FC and the Zazo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Balboa FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Herminio Loco hit a great ball. The supporters of Balboa FC booed when Zazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 played minutes Balboa FC got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Rodas. 80 minutes into the game, Zazo's Jonatan Palban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Balboa FC's zone, Jonatan Palban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Palban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Machado having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Zazo fully deserved thier win.
