He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo León reached it. After 7 played minutes Deportivo León got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Otsando. In the 10th minute, Deportivo León's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Horacio Lucila fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paulino Sagrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Deportivo León defense, Paulino Sagrario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Rik. The Deportivo León fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Rik should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Inge during the 27th minute. Diego Marado's Saul Quin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Darien in the 83rd minute of play. Ramon Rik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Lucila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Julio Txanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Marado were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Deportivo León for a fine match.
