Jaime Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 35 minutes, Adan Niva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabred's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Niva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Niva in the 66th minute of play forced Balboa FC's goalkeeper Jaime Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Obeko during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ariel Obeko hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Balboa FC's Jaime Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Lore in the 72nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Flavio Llope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ariel Obeko struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Adolfo Gasteiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balboa FC. Adolfo Gasteiz made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Adrian Cresenciano sent off a good shot on target. Balboa FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
