In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caca de Mono FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Ruisko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 6 minutes, Edelmiro Montay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caca de Mono FC and the Balboa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edelmiro Montay hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Godfredo Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Obeko in the 7th minute of the match. If Adrian Cresenciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Machado having to interfere. Godfredo Ruisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Obeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Caca de Mono FC booed when Balboa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Loco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Nastasio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jaime Machado came out and tried to block the shot, but Reynaldo Nastasio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. Adrian Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Machado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Caca de Mono FC's Godfredo Ruisko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Cresenciano in the 42nd minute of play. Adrian Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Ruisko came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Balboa FC's Ariel Obeko. But to his dismay, Ariel Obeko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Nastasio made a kick off. Jaime Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Nastasio in the 53rd minute of the match. Dario Marques took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Machado. Jaime Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Godfredo Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Obeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Dario Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Reynaldo Nastasio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caca de Mono FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Nastasio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65thth minute of the game Dario Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balboa FC's Jaime Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Nastasio in the 66th minute of play forced Balboa FC's goalkeeper Jaime Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Claus's late challenge caught a Caca de Mono FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximo Claus helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Balboa FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Claus. Reynaldo Nastasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jaime Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Dario Marques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jaime Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaime Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Adrian Cresenciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balboa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Cresenciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Caca de Mono FC's Santos Rozarius got a free kick in the 94th minute. A long shot from Santiago Ponciano in the 95th minute of play was well struck, but Godfredo Ruisko made a really good save at the right post. In the 97th minute Ariel Obeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caca de Mono FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Balboa FC for a fine match.
