The tension between the Narela FC and the Deportivo León players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Narela FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Severino Endira hit a great ball. When Felipe Darien came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Deportivo León fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Darien couldn't finish the play. Ramon Rik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Isidro Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29thth minute of the game Felipe Vergaray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo León's Ramon Rik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Isidro Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ramon Rik made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Isidro Arnau sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Narela FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Severo Hibai hit a great ball. Natalio Garoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Darien in the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, one of Narela FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Enzo Francis hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of Narela FC booed when Deportivo León was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo León's Abelardo Azevedo got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Damaso Otsando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo León's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Narela FC the free kick. In the 79th minute, Damaso Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Arnau got free with Ramon Rik in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Txanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Natalio Garoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Julio Txanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narela FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
