But to his dismay, Angelino Gaizko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eyague in the 9th minute of play forced Toro y Pampa's goalkeeper Israel Txordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Osasun having to interfere. Matias Osasun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Beltran in the 17th minute. Matias Beltran in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matias Osasun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucio Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Matias Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Beltran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Matias Osasun made a huge save. 24 minutes into the game, Lobos FC's Angelino Gaizko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Txordon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Lobos FC booed when Toro y Pampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Huly didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Carlos Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Faustino Nahia fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toro y Pampa's protests and gave Faustino Nahia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lobos FC booed when Toro y Pampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Nahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Txordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Carlos Eyague managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Eyague was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Txordon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toro y Pampa's Israel Txordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Gaizko in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Lobos FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucio Franco to make the kick off. The supporters of Lobos FC booed when Toro y Pampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 minutes, Fabio Eguerdi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toro y Pampa and the Lobos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toro y Pampa's goalkeeper Israel Txordon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Matias Beltran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Osasun was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Lobos FC's Matias Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Tiso in the 84th minute of play. Israel Txordon made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Carlos Eyague sent off a good shot on target. Faustino Nahia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Osasun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Carlos Eyague struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Israel Txordon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobos FC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lobos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
