After 6 minutes, Abel Locaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carabelas FC and the Quiropracticos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Abel Locaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Pacorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Gabrio charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Gabrio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carabelas FC's Tadeo Gabrio got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Tadeo Gabrio off the ground. Tadeo Gabrio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Froilan Jerrald fired a really elegant long shot, but Carlos Orland threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Rafael Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Orland having to interfere. A collision led to Carabelas FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Abel Locaio hit a great ball. Vinicio Pacorro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Orland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Quiropracticos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Fortun came free, but Rigoberto Oinaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Fortun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Oinaz having to make a save. Paulo Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rigoberto Oinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carabelas FC's Paulo Fortun got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Carabelas FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Fortun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Paulo Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rigoberto Oinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Quiropracticos FC's zone, Paulo Fortun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Oinaz came out of the goal and Paulo Fortun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes, Aurelio Txurio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quiropracticos FC and the Carabelas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelio Txurio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Rigoberto Oinaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Fortun went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Paulo Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Orland having to interfere. A collision led to Carabelas FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cornelio Azeari hit a great ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Vinicio Pacorro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiropracticos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Pacorro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Herensuge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Carlos Orland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Herensuge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Jose Charro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rigoberto Oinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Fortun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Oinaz made a huge save. Abel Locaio struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Rigoberto Oinaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carabelas FC. If Paulo Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Herensuge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Orland having to make a save. Carlos Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Pacorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Carabelas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quiropracticos FC.
