The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Chinto during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Eyague in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Pasqual saved VanChocha Club from getting behind. Matias Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Sancho in the 11th minute of play. Carlos Eyague recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lobos FC's Carlos Eyague got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, VanChocha Club's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eyague came free, but Benigno Pasqual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Carlos Eyague came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Lobos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Eyague couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute Angelino Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Mederi's late challenge caught a VanChocha Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Mederi helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Mederi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Severiano Oriche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Sancho made a kick off. Matias Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobos FC's goalkeeper Matias Osasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, VanChocha Club's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Gaizko came free, but Benigno Pasqual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to VanChocha Club getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Aureliano Bingen hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Carlos Eyague made a precise shot to the right of Benigno Pasqual. VanChocha Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 66th minute, Angelino Gaizko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Hector Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Osasun. Lobos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Lobos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lobos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
