PRINCIPE ALI's Felipe Bernard tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Modesto Hotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Bernard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Fortun's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Modesto Hotz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Carlos Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Paulo Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Modesto Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Bernard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Fortun in the 29th minute of play. Paulo Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Felipe Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carabelas FC's Carlos Orland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Carabelas FC from getting a goal against them. PRINCIPE ALI's Felipe Bernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Hotz in the 40th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, PRINCIPE ALI's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Fortun came free, but Felipe Bernard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to PRINCIPE ALI getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Benedicto Lore hit a great ball. Felipe Bernard came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Carabelas FC's Modesto Hotz. But to his dismay, Modesto Hotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Modesto Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Bernard having to interfere. When Edelmiro Pancho fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PRINCIPE ALI's protests and gave Edelmiro Pancho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Edelmiro Pancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Berriotxoa, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Felipe Bernard made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Paulo Fortun sent off a good shot on target. If Modesto Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Fortun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Bernard having to interfere. Felipe Bernard was a little too slow when Modesto Hotz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-5. Felipe Bernard made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Paulo Fortun sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Hotz in the 84th minute of play forced PRINCIPE ALI's goalkeeper Felipe Bernard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Fortun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Felipe Bernard skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julio Gizon scored 1-5 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Orland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
