The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, Juan Jose Coria FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Jerold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Lauaxeta. 20 minutes into the match, Juan Jose Coria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Naike came free, but Jacobo Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Canor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Jon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rayo Cruel's Tobias Canor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Dominic in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Rayo Cruel got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Jerardo. Tobias Canor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Freddy Dominic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tobias Canor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Dominic was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Higinio Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Jose Coria FC's Jacobo Jerold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Lauaxeta in the 54th minute of play. Norberto Policarpio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 minutes, Adolfo Jon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juan Jose Coria FC and the Rayo Cruel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Adolfo Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Lauaxeta in the 61st minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Fox Fox put in a rough tackle. Fox Fox hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Guerau in the 73rd minute of play forced Juan Jose Coria FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Freddy Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rayo Cruel's Eliseo Rivero got a free kick in the 88th minute. Paolo Ihazintu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 90 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Jacobo Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Eron in the 94th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
