Spectators: 6816 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santo Milio started the match with the kick off. When Astor Orland fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Tuca's protests and gave Astor Orland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, San Tuca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Abad to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Apolo Tohias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Silvano Onofre put in a rough tackle. 16 minutes into the game, one of Palavicini:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute, San Tuca got a penalty, and Nicanor Arce placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After 20 played minutes San Tuca got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Rencio. Eloy Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute of the match Ruperto Berart sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Mon skillfully saved the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Eustacio Rencio sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Edgard Abechuco threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Eustacio Rencio this time. In the 35th minute Eloy Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Artemio Guerrero came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Palavicini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Guerrero couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Atarratze in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Mon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of San Tuca booed when Palavicini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Eloy Atarratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Mon was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Eloy Atarratze made the kick off in the second half. Palavicini's Edgard Abechuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Milio in the 54th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Palavicini's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Abad came free, but Edgard Abechuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Mon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ruperto Berart. Eloy Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bruno Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Artemio Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palavicini's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Guerrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Mon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Palavicini's Eloy Atarratze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Mon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eloy Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Mon having to interfere. Eloy Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bruno Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Mon was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Artemio Guerrero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artemio Guerrero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Eloy Atarratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Eloy Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palavicini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloy Atarratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Palavicini played a much better game than San Tuca and deserved their victory. The San Tuca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
