Nuevo Atletismo Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Sauveur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Jeraldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Sauveur made a kick off. Pascual Macerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Rodolfo Jeraldo made a huge save. Rodolfo Jeraldo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Nuevo Atletismo Argentino's Cesar Bertol. But to his dismay, Cesar Bertol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Sauveur in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Jeraldo saved Varios Pingûinos from getting behind. 71 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Pedroso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varios Pingûinos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nuevo Atletismo Argentino the free kick. The supporters of Nuevo Atletismo Argentino booed when Varios Pingûinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Miguel Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the match was over Nuevo Atletismo Argentino could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Varios Pingûinos throughout the match.
