After a rather tough play, Helvecia AFC's Jonatan Gabon got a free kick in the 4th minute. Leon Paublo's late challenge caught a Helvecia AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Paublo helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Artigal FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Paublo. 6 minutes into the game, Helvecia AFC's Flavio Dimas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Octavio Bizen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Octavio Bizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Jon in the 10th minute of play. Nicanor Leobardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Florencio Figueroa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Octavio Bizen came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Helvecia AFC's Celedonio Platon. But to his dismay, Celedonio Platon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Leobardo in the 23rd minute of play forced Helvecia AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Artigal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Lobo to maneuver through the defense. If Nicanor Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Helvecia AFC's Florencio Figueroa got control of the ball when Gaudencio Remigio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicanor Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Figueroa having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Nicanor Leobardo made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Helvecia AFC's Florencio Figueroa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leo Jon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Bizen having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Damaso Benvide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Leobardo in the 54th minute of play forced Helvecia AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Daniel Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artigal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Favila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Leobardo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florencio Figueroa saved Helvecia AFC from getting behind. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Helvecia AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Figueroa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Barrionuevo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elias Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A nice corner shot did that Lázaro Elequemedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Florencio Figueroa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nicanor Leobardo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florencio Figueroa. Florencio Figueroa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Nicanor Leobardo charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Leobardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Artigal FC's Nicanor Leobardo got a free kick in the 99th minute. There was no doubt that Artigal FC were the better team. Artigal FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
