Spectators: 7296 (Terracing: 5474, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Angelo Barbosa made the kick off which started today's match. Albino Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Manex having to interfere. Benito Telmo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match, Benito Telmo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anacleto Orlan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Benito Telmo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anacleto Orlan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benito Telmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Candelarias AFC's Hermengildo Rosario got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Manuel Pero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Ikatz struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Edgard Manex didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teotihuacanos. In the 17th minute, Albino Hug left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Teotihuacanos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Candelarias AFC's Edgard Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Hug in the 26th minute of play. Angelo Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard Manex. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Angelo Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Albino Hug might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard Manex. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Hug ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillermo Napier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Barbosa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The supporters of Candelarias AFC booed when Teotihuacanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Medero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Teotihuacanos's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Mateo came free, but Anacleto Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Teotihuacanos's Albino Hug got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Angelo Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. When Ruperto Oliviero fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelarias AFC's protests and gave Ruperto Oliviero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Ruperto Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Barbosa got free with Edgard Manex in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 played minutes Candelarias AFC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Napier. Angelo Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Candelarias AFC reached it. Teotihuacanos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
