After having played for 10 minutes, German Fresco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Actuario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Fresco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Selatse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Romelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Fresco's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Futbol Club Belgrano's Francisco Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Favila in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Selatse recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerardo Brais. Reynaldo Selatse showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Fermin Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, Futbol Club Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Favila came free, but Francisco Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If German Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Futbol Club Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Peyo. Victor Favila took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Romelio. Francisco Romelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. German Fresco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If German Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When German Fresco came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Actuario FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Fresco couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Actuario FC booed when Futbol Club Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Peyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Brais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fermin Marquez in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when German Fresco made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Beltxe in the 52nd minute of the match. After 52 played minutes Tiburcio Beltxe rounded Futbol Club Belgrano's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. German Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club Belgrano's zone, Victor Favila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Romelio came out of the goal and Victor Favila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Futbol Club Belgrano's Fermin Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerardo Brais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Francisco Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Brais having to interfere. German Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Romelio having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, German Fresco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Francisco Romelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Fermin Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Futbol Club Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Marquez couldn't finish the play. The Futbol Club Belgrano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Actuario FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
