Spectators: 7054 (Terracing: 5384, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mario Salamon got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as DUENDES FC's Mario Salamon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Tabb. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Fernando Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Bermudo having to interfere. Fermin Gabrio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Mario Salamon struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ismael Tabb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DUENDES FC. Anselmo Chan charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Chan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fermin Gabrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Tabb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, DUENDES FC's Fermin Gabrio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Tabb was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Ismael Tabb managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when DUENDES FC's Fermin Gabrio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fermin Gabrio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ismael Tabb firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fermin Gabrio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ismael Tabb came out and tried to block the shot, but Fermin Gabrio slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 37th minute. Fermin Gabrio's late challenge caught a Deportivo Resaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Gabrio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Deportivo Resaca booed when DUENDES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Tabb having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Resaca's zone, Fermin Gabrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Tabb came out of the goal and Fermin Gabrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute Godfredo Videl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Truylos to make the kick off. Fidel Criston kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Fermin Gabrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ismael Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Ritchie's late challenge caught a Deportivo Resaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Ritchie helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Esteve Ritchie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, Deportivo Resaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Hanot to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match Teo Barea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Tabb skillfully saved the ball. When Fernando Truylos got free in front of the goal in the 84th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Arnoldo Bermudo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ismael Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Gabrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Deportivo Resaca got a freekick which was hit by Javier Hanot. 96 minutes into the game, Marcial Michael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Arnoldo Bermudo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Resaca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DUENDES FC.
