Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Washington Lalu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Benigno Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Mazuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The PORVENTOR fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when PORVENTOR's Bartolo Madaleno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Francisco Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintino Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of PORVENTOR booed when Futbol Club Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Liher didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Washington Lalu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Romelio made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Washington Lalu sent off a good shot on target. After 15 minutes of play, PORVENTOR's Bartolo Madaleno made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Romelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cleto Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Marquez in the 24th minute of play. Cleto Mazuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Selatse in the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Madaleno got free with Francisco Romelio in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Washington Lalu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quintino Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Francisco Romelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PORVENTOR. Bartolo Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Romelio having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Varfolomey Syroezhkin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PORVENTOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futbol Club Belgrano the free kick. In the 45th minute, Varfolomey Syroezhkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Selatse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cleto Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Reynaldo Selatse made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, PORVENTOR's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Selatse came free, but Cleto Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Mazuste was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Romulo Pere. In the 60th minute Reynaldo Selatse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Mazuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Lalu in the 61st minute of play forced Futbol Club Belgrano's goalkeeper Francisco Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleto Mazuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Selatse in the 71st minute of play. Quintino Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Mazuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Selatse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Washington Lalu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Romelio having to interfere. Francisco Romelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Lalu in the 94th minute of the match. Bartolo Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
