Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tottenham's Marco Elodio in the 11th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Arnoldo Bermudo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for DUENDES FC through an amazing save. Narciso Artizar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Arnoldo Bermudo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 18th minute Marco Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mario Salamon sped through Tottenham's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Chico. Marco Elodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Segundo Natanael took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnoldo Bermudo. DUENDES FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, DUENDES FC's Mario Salamon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Chico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Narciso Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Bermudo having to interfere. Arnoldo Bermudo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Marco Elodio sent off a good shot on target. If Fermin Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Salamon to strike the kick off in the second half. When Narciso Artizar came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Tottenham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Artizar couldn't finish the play. Mario Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Marco Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Tottenham's Narciso Artizar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After 78 played minutes, Tottenham's Nestor Paul shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnoldo Bermudo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tottenham reached it. Arnoldo Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mario Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot. DUENDES FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Salamon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Chico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Fermin Gabrio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tottenham's Narciso Artizar got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched DUENDES FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
