Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Fresco in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Ignado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Salvador Petrigai came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the LA CUMBANCHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Petrigai couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Lucas Ponc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Brais was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
