Venancio Perico really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bernardo Duardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16thth minute of the game Reynaldo Selatse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galisteo AFC's Daniel Cordeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Perico in the 18th minute of play forced Futbol Club Belgrano's goalkeeper Francisco Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Selatse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Daniel Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Galisteo AFC defense, Fermin Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Cordeiro. The Galisteo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Cordeiro should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Futbol Club Belgrano booed when Galisteo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Frascuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute, Galisteo AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fermin Marquez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Reynaldo Selatse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Futbol Club Belgrano's Fermin Marquez suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 60 minutes into the game, Omar Basualdo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galisteo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futbol Club Belgrano the free kick. 59 minutes into the game, one of Galisteo AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 63rd minute, Severiano Liher made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Cordeiro. Galisteo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Bernardo Duardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galisteo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Duardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Romelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 79 minutes, Sebastian Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galisteo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Frascuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Galisteo AFC's Venancio Perico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Romelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Reynaldo Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Cordeiro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club Belgrano's zone, Venancio Perico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Romelio came out of the goal and Venancio Perico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venancio Perico, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Many of Futbol Club Belgrano's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Futbol Club Belgrano may have spent more time on the ball, but Galisteo AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
