After 21 minutes, Zeledon Gabon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CaNaYaDaS and the C.A.FANTASYA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulino Oalo struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Leopoldo Theobald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.FANTASYA. Paulino Oalo came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leopoldo Theobald could save by the left post. If Honorato Esiquio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Cibran kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Honorato Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, CaNaYaDaS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Palban fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lucio Urti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Loren having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Esiquio to make the kick off. Santiago Loren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Esiquio's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. CaNaYaDaS's Lucio Urti got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Tomás Galtero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorato Esiquio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Santiago Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, CaNaYaDaS's Honorato Esiquio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Loren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute of the match, Lucio Urti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santiago Loren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Paulino Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Urti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Santiago Loren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Paulino Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Palban in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Paulino Oalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lucio Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
