After 28 played minutes Real Cañuelas Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Adan Kaiet. LA CUMBANCHA FC's Jaime Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Quilino in the 30th minute of play. If Lucas Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Ponc took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Tximitx. Arnulfo Tximitx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Braulio Shantala charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Shantala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Braulio Shantala kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Quilino made a kick off. If Iker Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Tonete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jaime Ignado made a huge save. Jaime Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iker Tonete in the 70th minute. Arnulfo Tximitx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Petrigai in the 72nd minute of play. LA CUMBANCHA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Andres Quilino scored to the left of an out of position Jaime Ignado, making the score, 1-2. Iker Tonete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lucas Ponc came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the LA CUMBANCHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Ponc couldn't finish the play. Real Cañuelas Futbol Club's Andres Quilino got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salvador Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Tximitx having to interfere. Real Cañuelas Futbol Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
