Spectators: 7172 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 100) Marco Elodio made the kick off and thus started the match. Ismael Tabb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Artizar in the 7th minute of play. Siro Ederono kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tottenham's Cipriano Bento got a free kick in the 13th minute. The supporters of Deportivo Resaca booed when Tottenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Elodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ismael Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segundo Natanael took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ismael Tabb. Deportivo Resaca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernando Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Chico having to interfere. Matias Nicholas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marcos Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matias Nicholas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Chico read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Fernando Truylos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Marcos Chico when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Nicholas to make the kick off. Marcos Chico came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Resaca's Fernando Truylos. But to his dismay, Fernando Truylos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Matias Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute of the match Tottenham got a corner. Deportivo Resaca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nestor Paul ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tottenham's Nestor Paul was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ismael Tabb in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 67th minute Marco Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo Resaca getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Anselmo Chan hit a great ball. When the match had been going on for 71 minutes, Tottenham's Nestor Paul got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ismael Tabb. With his leg Ismael Tabb managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Tottenham's Narciso Artizar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ismael Tabb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Gaufred during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anibal Gaufred hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tottenham's goalkeeper Marcos Chico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Anibal Gaufred was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. In the 93rd match minute, Tottenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Gaufred to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Deportivo Resaca booed when Tottenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball.
