Club Atletico Floresta's Froilan Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Sengrat in the 16th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Gaskon couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Sayvion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Froilan Ebardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Carolo Eyague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CATTA FC booed when Club Atletico Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Rivas hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Dante Omero might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Ebardo. The Club Atletico Floresta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CATTA FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
