If Eleuterio Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustino Medina's late challenge caught a Fauzón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Medina helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of CATTA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fauzón FC:s goal. In the 28th minute of the match Angelino Firme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siro Herena skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Efrain Eguerdi sped through CATTA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Siro Herena. After having played for 31 minutes, Eleuterio Estevon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CATTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Estevon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Estevon got free with Astor Mino in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fauzón FC's goalkeeper Astor Mino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvestre Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Mino having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Dante Omero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Mino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eleuterio Estevon was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Omero during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Delmar Omero kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Efrain Eguerdi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Siro Herena. That made the score 3-2 in the 96 minute of play. CATTA FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
