Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Gitanox's Maximino Behe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Urquiza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Berdoi to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Rafe during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Jimeno Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Gipuzkoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Roman Urki made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Gitanox's Roman Urki threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximino Behe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Urquiza FC's zone, Maximino Behe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Urki came out of the goal and Maximino Behe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonides Gipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gitanox's Maximino Behe got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Urquiza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Cordearo to maneuver through the defense. Roman Urki was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Julio Fidele. Maximino Behe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Francho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Delmar Francho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Rafe having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Delmar Francho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urquiza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Francho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Rafe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Gitanox's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Francho came free, but Ulises Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmar Francho made a kick off. Delmar Francho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Rafe having to interfere. A hard shot 55 in the game by Gaspar Gorbea from a close distance when the talented Ulises Rafe managed to make a qualified save. Gitanox's players were relieved. Leonides Gipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gitanox booed when Urquiza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Urki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Urquiza FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio Fidele was slow to take the kick. During this time Gitanox's players had a chance to rest. Julio Fidele made a great header on Gitanox's corner, it was just that Urquiza FC's Roman Urki managed to reach the ball for a save. Roman Urki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Leonides Gipuzkoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Urki. Urquiza FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Gipuzkoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Silvio Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ulises Rafe came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Urquiza FC's Gaspar Gorbea. But to his dismay, Gaspar Gorbea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Roman Urki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Gipuzkoa in the 80th minute of play. If Gaspar Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Behe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Roman Urki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Maximino Behe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Roman Urki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Urquiza FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
