After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grido Team! Sebastian Senio charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Senio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mechita's Sebastian Senio got a free kick in the 20th minute. Leo Savier in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Americo Ramone, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Americo Ramone was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Prudencio Chico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prudencio Chico really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Mechita's goalkeeper Americo Ramone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Savier. Leo Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Leo Savier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Americo Ramone. Leo Savier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Mechita's Constantino Ted got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Leo Savier made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Leo Savier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grido Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Savier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Ramone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute Leo Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Ramone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Grido Team were awarded a corner. Erubiel Uxio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Erubiel Uxio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mechita's Americo Ramone did a great save. Mechita's Constantino Ted got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Mechita defense, Leo Savier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Ramone. The Mechita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Ramone should have stopped the shot. Melchor Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Ramone having to interfere. Americo Ramone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Savier in the 67th minute of the match. Leo Savier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Aureo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Grido Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
